CILS – Certificato di Italiano come Lingua Straniera
Both attest proficiency in Italian. CELI is accredited by the University for Foreigners of Perugia, whereas CILS is accredited by the University for Foreigners of Siena. There are six levels of proficiency certified by CILS and five by CELI.
