Our History
The Office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs (PROINTER) originated from the creation of the Division of Exchange and Cultural Expansion, under the Department of Education and Culture, in January 1957. Later, in September 1974, the Commission of International Affairs was created. In the following year, the title “Department of International Affairs” (DAI) was adopted. In 1987, the title International Affairs Office (CAI) was adopted and maintained until 2017, with the creation of the Office of the Vice Provost.
